One of our key priorities is the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy document contains the type of information that is collected and recorded by Wordango and how we use it.
When using the Challenge feature to play other people, game data is sent to a central server. No personal information of any kind is sent when sending challenge game data, purely things like the Word Grid and Word Shapes. This game data is overwritten each time you play another game.
We offer an option whereby games you complete when challenging someone are anonymously stored, for other people to use when using the "Random Player" challenge function. This option is turned OFF by default and you have to opt in to enable it.

Wordango follows a standard procedure of using log files. This is only applicable when using the Challenge feature which requires online access. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site and preventing malicious use of the app.
